This course will walk you through the content type, one of the key components for organizing content in SharePoint. Content types allow power users to better control a document or list item, its metadata, workflow, and other associated features. Content types can be managed at the site level or across the entire organization with the use of the Content Type Hub.

This course will cover adding, editing, and governing content types. It will also cover site columns, inheritance, workflows, information management policies, and real-world examples.
