I am searching for the file location from a OneNote Notebook in SharePoint. In the Documents Library is only a internet shortcut and not the original file (.onepkg).
My Question is where is in SharePoint/OneDrive the file location with the full Notebook?
I agree that OneNote files are typically stored under Site Assets library for SharePoint 2013 or higher.
Thanks for the reviewing of this I am also thinking about this to connect to the iPad with Microsoft notebook because I am recently bought an iPad and I have an issue when I download the application of Microsoft regarding this problem talked to the Apple Application Support team but its still having a problem.
The document is stored internally with in the site. OOTB there seems to be no direct way to access the folder its stored in.
The location of OneNote Notebook in our SharePoint Online environment is SiteAssets. Example: https://****.sharepoint.com/****/SiteAssets/Forms/AllItems.aspx
