SharePoint newbie here . . .
How can I use a file in SharePoint as an external data source for a desktop Excel workbook within my own organization?
The Excel workbook would have pivot tables & charts tailored for a specific user based on the SharePoint data without giving them access to the SharePoint site.
Or is there a better way to do this?
