How to create a report using SSRS from SharePoint data

Laura Rogers

Laura and Joelle focus on SSRS SQL Server Reporting Services and the Report Viewer Web Part to show you how to create reports using SharePoint data from a combination of other data sources.

Laura specifically shows you how to use the report viewer web part to create a quick report using information gathered in a form (Laura uses an Infopath form) and linking it to Active Directory to gather additional information that you already hold about that person (e.g. information you already have in their user profile such as department for example).

Please note this was recorded a while ago, so whilst some of the chat and social links shared during the session are no longer valid all of the conversation and points that are demonstrated are well worth watching.
