In this session we will go step by step through the Identity Management portion of Office 365. We will start with how synchronization functions to Windows Azure Active Directory, determining users who will be synchronized and synchronizing between On Premise and Office 365. From there we will discuss how information is replicated between Windows Azure Active Directory, SharePoint, Skype for Business and Exchange in Office 365 and what the ever elusive Immutable ID actually is and how it functions for these purposes. We will finalize off with how ADFS SAML tokens use that information to authenticate users to Office 365.
