An in depth look at the InfoPath Form Web Part

Laura Rogers

In this session Laura describes the InfoPath Form Web Part and explains what all of the setting are. She also gives some practical examples of how you can use it.

In the demo she creates a Feedback form by using a custom list, adding and renaming columns and adds a submit button. She suggests avoiding multiple lines of text as these are not handled well within InfoPath.

She then uses the InfoPath Form Web Part to add the feedback form to a wiki page. She demonstrates how each of the Web part settings impact how the form behaves and how the end user experience changes with the settings. It’s a really useful master class of the entire InfoPath Form Web Part.

As this was initially broadcast a while ago and is now available on demand, the slack and social channels she mentions are no longer valid.
