Imagine that as a SharePoint Administrator, you would like to define some processes for creating sites using a specific template. In the simplest case you want to allow a user to request a new site. In addition, you could also want a workflow to create a site with the fields the user completes. By default, workflow does not have permissions to create a subsite. To solve this, you have to create a workflow with elevated permissions by using the app step with dictionary actions. In this session, we will discuss replacing manual steps with the app step, understand the new features of 2013 workflows, using a dictionary and understand a HTTP web service.
This session was delivered at the Collab365 Summit 2016 and was presented by Pat Petersen.
