The problem

I need a Teams policy agent, but the access, ownership, and cost are unclear

Repeated policy questions land on the adoption champion in Teams. An agent grounded on the SharePoint policy library is the obvious fix, but the champion cannot tell what an agent would actually read, who is allowed to build one, or what licence, billing, and approval it needs.

This is a workplace problem tracked in Microsoft Copilot Adopters. Below is the solution path currently available for it.
